Kheerganga is a beautiful trek that has a small temple at the top of the mountain. It is one of the most famous treks in Himachal Pradesh. The views from the top are spectacular and will leave you breathless. It is also a great way to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life and into nature’s lap, where you can appreciate all it has to offer. Kheerganga Trek (Khir Ganga) is among the most well-known trekking destinations in Himachal Pradesh. Located deep in the Parvati Valley, Kheerganga offers trekkers a wealth of memorable experiences! As the abode of Lord Shiva for thousands of years, Kheerganga Trek has a varied temperature throughout the year. During the winters, a thick layer of snow covers most of the landscape, while the temperature can soar to 26 degrees in summers. winters are cold with negative temperatures and snowfall is common.

You can make the trip by car for about three hours to the basecamp, Barshaini, at 1189 meters above sea level. There are three routes to choose from after arriving in Barshaini to go to Kheerganga: go west, straight ahead or go up north. To really experience the place in its entirety, the route from Kheerganga will be different from the one taken to it. The trek begins from Barshaini, at the dam built on river Parvati, and goes to Kheerganga, where you will be camping overnight in tents. In our way to kheerganga we will explore multiple villages like Nakthan, Rudra nag Village.

After reaching kheerganga head straight toward the Parvati Kund. This is a hot water kund which becomes Fascinating in winters. Take relaxing bath in parvati kund. After that you will be staying in camps overnight in Kirganga there you can excuse the campfires and you will be sleeping in sleeping bags. If you are a music enthusiast he will love the music party organized by the group because of India that will be cherry on the top.
