How to Reach

By Air:-The easiest option to start this trip is by either reaching the Bagdogra Airport or New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) in Siliguri (West Bengal). Both are very well connected with the major cities all over India, as it serves as a major gateway to North-East India.

By Rail :-The nearest railway station to Gangtok is New Jalpaiguri Junction (NJP), located about 120 km away.

Day 1NJP Railway Station/Bagdogra Airport to Gangtok | Welcome to the Capital City of Sikkim

Upon arrival at the Bagdogra Airport/NJP Railway Station, board a hassle-free transfer to Gangtok.
Don’t forget to capture the picturesque views of the mighty Teesta River.
Upon reaching Gangtok, check in to the hotel where the evening will be for your leisure.
You can also explore the famous MG Marg to treasure some unique souvenirs and authentic cuisines.
Overnight stay at the hotel in Gangtok.

Day 2 Gangtok Full Day Sightseeing | Explore the Hidden Beauties

Embrace your spiritual side as you embark on a visit to Ganesh Tok and Hanuman Tok.

Day 3Gangtok Excursion Tour | Listen to the local story of Baba Mandir

After a tasty breakfast, you will leave to visit the famous Tsomgo Lake aka Changu Lake.
It has an elevation of about 3,780 m, offers breathtaking scenic beauty, is home to Brahminy Ducks and many other migratory bird,s and is popular for its colour changing phenomenon.
Following this, you will visit the shrine of the famous Baba Mandir where it is believed that his spirit protects every soldier in the inhospitable high-altitude terrain of the Eastern Himalayas.
Later, you can also visit Nathula Pass* (closed on Mondays and Tuesdays) which is one of the most crucial passes on the crossroads of the India-China border (at an additional cost).
Later, return back to Gangtok for an overnight stay.

Day 4 Departure from Gangtok | Goodbye with lots of memories

After having a hearty breakfast, check out from the hotel and then you can leave to reach NJP Station/ Bagdogra Airport (IXB) [On your own].
Your tour concludes here after which you can continue your onwards journey.
It’s now time to head back home with a plethora of good memories.
